Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(25) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, TRICUBES wishes to announce that the Company had on 7 January 2009 disposed 550 shares in Tricubes Mobile Sdn. Bhd. ("Tricubes Mobile"), representing 55% of the paid-up capital in Tricubes Mobile (Company No. 625374-W) at a total cash consideration of RM55.00 ("the Disposal") to Mohd Yaacob Bin Othman of 48, Jalan USJ3/1G, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The Disposal has resulted in Tricubes Mobile ceasing to become a subsidiary of TRICUBES.
The Disposal will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholding of TRICUBES nor have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of TRICUBES for the current financial year. Except for Encik Khairun Bin Zainal Mokhtar who is a Director of the Company and Tricubes Mobile, none of the other Directors in the Company and/or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected to them have interest, direct or indirect in the above disposal.
The Board of Directors is of the opinion that the Disposal is in the best interest of the Company.
